Writing the Conclusion
New arguments do not belong here. A clear answer does.
Conclusions fail in two directions: they either summarise the whole thesis again or they smuggle in a new claim the data never supported. The chapter should answer the question in plain language, say precisely what you contributed, and stop. We write conclusions that examiners find satisfying because they close the argument rather than reopening it.
