Executive Summary
The page most often read and least often written properly.

An executive summary is not an introduction and it is not an abstract. It is the report in miniature, written so a reader who stops there still knows what to do on Monday. Most students write a teaser instead, and the recommendation stays hidden on page fourteen. We write it to stand alone.
What you get
- The problem in one sentence
- What you did, in one more
- The two or three findings that matter
- Your recommendation, stated as a decision
- The cost or resource implication
