Qualitative analysis is not reading interviews and noticing things. The examiner wants to see the route from raw transcript to stated theme: your codes, how they clustered, which extracts sit under each. We produce that trail — codebook included — so your themes are evidenced rather than asserted, and so the quotations do work instead of filling space.
